More about Oasen på Åsen by owners MaryAnn Fargo and Martin Johansson
In January 2018 we left the city for a small, dormant farm outside Björkvik. With a focus on self-sufficiency, we have brought the farm back to life. Here we don't just grow vegetables, we grow taste experiences and live our dream! We have chickens, turkeys, musk ducks, rabbits, goat sheep and bees. In 2020 we started a small-scale vegetable farm because we want more people to experience what vegetables should really taste like. We are biologists at heart and the environment, cycles and biodiversity are very important to us. The farm is our oasis and we treat it accordingly.
