Day One Saturday 13th September – No Dig Gardening - 60 places
10am to 4pm Extensive morning session in the event space, to include a Q&A, followed by lunch, then a practical session in the garden.

Fully immerse yourself in the no dig way of growing. In the morning session my presentation shows you the layout and working of Homeacres in Somerset, SW England. I use my 2000 m² garden to illustrate how you can grow healthy abundant vegetables by intensively cropping the space you have.

I discuss the results of trials I’m running, particularly the dig / no dig comparison beds.
I’ll talk you through succession planting and interplanting to keep your beds as full as possible year-round.

I explain the many ways you can make your cropping easier, such as minimal rotation, about which I have many great examples, and simple, laboursaving techniques, such as reduced hardening off, and using the same trays for continual propagation, without any washing or sterilising.
I show you great ways to reduce pest damage.

We’ll look at compost making and how mulching your beds with compost is an essential part of no dig growing. You are feeding the biology which is alive in your beds.

Ticket price £130 includes lunch and refreshments.

Day Two Sunday 14th September – Going Further with No Dig morning session only in the event space 100 places

Lunch is not provided with this ticket.
