Jonathan Roach

I live in Desert Hot Springs, California. Desert growing is unique and special, special because we can grow produce all year long, our summer is hot and dry so getting anything to survive during our summer can be very difficult with temps reaching 125* F. It's like growing in winter only we have extreme extended heat from June until the end of September.

I have learned so much from Mr Charles and how important soil health is the key to any garden no matter where you may live. Sure I garden in the desert and it has pros and cons. Every day is a new learning experience and the garden is growing me inside and out. I heard it said best in a book I once read it all begins with soil. Thank you from sunny Sonoran/Mohave Desert, California.
