The Clare Hall college allotment was started by two students five years ago, of course as a no-dig garden.
We got funding from the college and have added a greenhouse, many fruit trees and berry bushes over the years.
We are rasing all our annual plants from seeds - students get to see the entire plant 'life-cycle'.
The allotment is extremely popular and gives students a place to relax, especially during busy term time. Many students have never gardened or grown veg before, so it's feels like a really meaningful initiative.
