Plastic-free BioFleece® works in the same way as regular fleece, protecting plants from cold and frost in the chilly months. The only difference is that it’s made from plants, not petroleum. The 30gsm fleece creates an insulating pocket of air around your plants, keeping them snug in temperatures as low as -6°C.
You can cut it to the size and shape you need with scissors, and it’s nice and light so it can be laid directly over plants or supported on hoops and frame supports.The fleece will last you at least two seasons and is 100% biodegradable so you can throw it on the compost heap to feed your plants at the end of its useful life.
How to use:
Suitable for any plants at any time of year, though frost protection is mostly needed from October to April. Especially useful for tender flowers and shrubs as well as early season vegetables.
